Accusoft Pegasus, recognized worldwide as the largest provider of imaging software development kits (SDKs), announces the release of ImagXpress Version 10 for 64-bit .NET imaging applications. ImagXpress v10 allows developers to build applications targeting both 64-bit and 32-bit Windows .NET architectures.

ImagXpress offers extensive features for image scanning, compression, viewing, annotating, cleanup, and printing. All are now offered for both 64-bit and 32-bit .NET environments. The .NET components included within ImagXpress are now compiled as AnyCPU. ImagXpress v10 is optimized for use in Visual Studio 2005 and 2008, and is fully compliant for use in .NET Framework 2.0 and higher.

In addition, ImagXpress v10 offers the following new features: support for the TWAIN 2.0 scanning specification (which includes 64-bit support), a new automatic binarization function, and support for additional Camera RAW formats.

The ImagXpress v10 Professional edition unlocks all features within the ImagXpress product. Document image cleanup, annotation support, and support for advanced file formats, are only featured in the Professional edition, and are not offered as features within the Standard edition.

"All the new features and functionality in the latest version of ImagXpress v10 are inspired by customer input from organizations like Unisys and C.H. Robinson," said Russ Puskaric, vice president of sales at Accusoft Pegasus. "Any new application development effort hunting for an advanced imaging feature set and cutting-edge performance for tomorrow, should be considering ImagXpress with its AnyCPU capabilities today."
