EventEvolution Management Inc., producers of DOCUMENT Strategy Forum, is excited to announce that its 2015 Opening Keynote on Tuesday, May 12th at the Hyatt Regency, Greenwich, CT, will feature David Mario Smith, Research Director and Lead Analyst, Aragon Research, speaking on how today’s organizations can build a sound collaboration strategy.

The DOCUMENT Strategy Forum brings together some of the most passionate business/technology leaders in the document, content management and information technology industries. It is the industry’s first and only peer-driven, peer-reviewed and peer-produced conference dedicated to professionals charged with delivering superior customer experiences. Led by a team of 10 innovative business thought leaders, the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum’s Advisory Board has built an educational program that tackles some of the biggest challenges facing businesses today.

“Mobile adoption and social media channels create added complexity to how companies manage their content and how they use this information to interact with their customers, partners and internal stakeholders. How to leverage collaboration strategies and technology investments—from VoIP, chat, conferencing, video, mobility and social media—are top of mind for many leaders,” says Allison Lloyd, Conference Director and Editor of DOCUMENT Strategy Media & Forum. “Our Advisory Board wanted to highlight this key strategy, and we are so pleased to host Mr. Smith this year at the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum.”

Collaboration is more than a technology. True collaboration always happens between people, involving some form of content that is shared and/or collaboratively created in context. As the nature of work has changed, collaborative interactions are no longer limited to desktops, landline phones or video conferencing rooms: now they’re mobile-enabled. This Keynote will discuss how to develop a sound collaboration strategy focused first on people, technology and content.

“There is a new workplace with new types of workers that are mobile and transcend the walls of the enterprise. They need flexible collaboration inside and outside of the organization with a vast array of constituents.”

Mr. Smith covers topics such as social business, unified communications, web and video conferencing and video content management at Aragon Research, the leading research and advisory services firm focusing on work and people. He has over 20 years of experience in collaboration and has helped thousands of enterprises with their collaboration strategy. Previously, he was a research analyst at Gartner, where he covered collaboration and web conferencing.
