ibml, a leader in information capture solutions for the enterprise, today announced the sale of a complete, end to end ibml document capture solution to a property management company based in the United Kingdom. The solution will be employed to scan, index and classify millions of documents that are stored in file cabinets at hundreds of local offices and currently inaccessible to company managers, who will now benefit from instant and accurate document retrieval.

The sale consists of SoftTrac® Capture Suite with SoftTrac Synergetics, ibml's advanced intelligent document recognition and classification software, and the ImageTracDS 1150 high volume desktop scanner.

SoftTrac Synergetics was selected over competitive products because of its lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and as the best option to allow the company to quickly expand applications and users in the future. Synergetics offers server-based licensing with no page click charges or seat license costs. The thin client web architecture can easily be expanded to take on new applications, more users and higher volumes.

The company has plans to expand and offer comprehensive capture services across the organization. Only ibml could offer the ImageTracDS 1150 high volume production scanner and enterprise capture software as the perfect right-sized starter system, and then provide a path for the customer to upgrade to ibml's ImageTrac® ultra-high volume scanner which processes up to 440 pages per minute.

SoftTrac Capture Suite is ibml's enterprise capture software that enables the customer to use the same document preparation, same capture jobs, same business rules, same software workflow process, same database, and same end user training on all scanners. No other information capture company can offer this range of end to end scanning and capture solutions.
