Michael Q. Cannon is a Principal at IMERGE Consulting. He is an expert in information technology (IT) strategic planning, IT assessments, IT project management and IT leadership. He has conducted numerous IT assessments, developed IT strategic plans and a variety of other planning documents and served as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) for several organizations. He was the CIO for the City of Rockville, MD, the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and The Council on Foundations. He presents at national conferences and has written articles for a variety of publications. He holds a BA degree in economics from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
