Kodak Alaris has announced a strategic partnership with technology solutions integrator, SONDA. Under the terms of the agreement, SONDA will expand its solutions and service offerings to include award-winning document scanners and IDP software from Kodak Alaris.

The alliance, which will generate more than $1.3 million in revenue, will enable digitization and transformation processes for customers across North and South America. SONDA will leverage document scanners and intelligent automation software from Kodak Alaris that complement and enhance its existing managed print (MPS) and document services.

Juan Carlos Cartes, Corporate Director of Managed Device Services of SONDA explains that this alliance "allows us to expand our portfolio of services to align with the digital transformation goals of our clients. These new tools enable us to implement customized solutions for workflow optimization through intelligent document process automation."

SONDA is already leveraging this partnership; it builds upon a ten-year alliance as the MPS provider for Caixa Economica Federal (CEF), the second-largest public bank in Brazil. For the first time, the bank is tendering for a single provider for printers and document scanners.

In addition, Kodak Alaris supported SONDA in a competitive tender process with Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANTT) in Brazil, where the jointly created bid resulted in SONDA being awarded the outsourcing contract to digitize a large daily volume of back-office documents.

Vanilda Brambila, Global Business Development Director, Kodak Alaris said: “We are excited to embark on this new partnership to support our customers’ digital transformation strategies and solve customer challenges around streamlining business processes, automating workflows, and ensuring the security of information.”
