Cabinet Document Management Solutions, a leading provider of electronic document management software and workflow software for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced the release of a new version of the Cabinet MOBILETM app for iPad.

Available on the App StoreSM, the MOBILE app gives Cabinet document management users on-the-go access to any document in their SAFE repositories. Selected documents can be marked as favorites for instant access, copied for use in third-party apps or “electronically signed” with a fingertip. Best of all, MOBILE enforces the same security settings applied in Cabinet’s SAFE and SAFE CLOUD paperless office software suites – ensuring that sensitive documentation stays private.

The new version of the app, Cabinet MOBILE v1.2, expands on the capabilities of last year’s original release, giving users the ability to add new folders, edit existing folder indexes and import iPad® content from third-party apps, camera roll images, system templates or the device’s camera.

Cabinet MOBILE v1.2 requires a valid user license for Cabinet SAFE or Cabinet SAFE CLOUD 9.0 or higher.

“Mobile devices are playing an increasingly significant role in the business world,” said Cabinet Document Management Solutions president Andrew Bailey. “These days, ‘doing business’ doesn’t necessarily mean being in the office. To operate effectively, employees and managers need access to mission-critical document anywhere and at any time. Cabinet’s mobile document management solutions make that a reality. Whether it’s the MOBILE app for iPad® or the browser-based Cabinet WEBTM document management portal, our products let users work efficiently on the road, at home or in remote offices.”

Availability
The Cabinet MOBILE app for iPad® is available in the App StoreSM for $9.99. Users of other devices can enjoy MOBILE features through their tablet’s web browser using Cabinet WEB.
